Highlights

High-port-count MEMS optical switching 

Manufactured by DiCon exclusively for EXFO, the MXS-9200 MEMS optical switch is a stand-alone rack-mountable chassis from 1U to 3U for configurations up to 64x64, with larger chassis supporting up to 192x192 ports and beyond.

Available with non-blocking MxN matrix switches or an array of blocking 1xN optical switches, it is designed for sharing centralized instruments or automated testing on multiple devices. 

Remote-control automated testing 

With fast SCPI over Ethernet, the MXS-9200 supports remote control for sharing high-cost centralized instruments and scaling qualification, manufacturing and other automated tests.

Based on DiCon’s proven 3D MEMS tilting-mirror technology, it offers durability, repeatability and optical performance for applications including high-speed optical transceiver testing.
