Notice Replacing Battery FTB Series

This step-by-step video shows how to replace the battery in an FTB Lite unit — from opening the housing and disconnecting the battery, to moving the antenna assembly for access, installing the new battery kit, and reassembling the device for a final power-on check. ⚠️ Notes & safety Power the unit OFF before opening the housing. Work on a clean, stable, ESD-safe surface. Keep screws organized (there are multiple screw locations/sets). Pull connectors by the connector body — not the wires — to avoid damage. Handle lithium batteries carefully and recycle/dispose of the old battery properly.
