Complete Connector Certification in less than 10 seconds. Everyone agrees that fiber inspection is critical, though it is still considered a complex and time-consuming test process. See how EXFO is changing the game with the FIP-430B, its fully automated fiber inspection scope —turning fiber inspection into a quick and simple one-step process.
ResourcesLet’s step in a central office re-architected as a data center (CORD) to see how this innovative tool, the FIP-500, can really make a difference in the day-to-day.
ResourcesTesting next-gen and legacy PON overlays? Meet EXFO’s next-gen PON power meter. Thanks to its built-in intelligence, it automatically detects and adapts test parameters to the PON technology in use. Compatible with: GPON, EPON, XG-PON, XGS-PON, NG-PON2, 10G-EPON, RFoG. Be PON-aware.
ResourcesTellabs, the leader in Passive Optical LAN solutions, Alpha Technologies, the power behind the evolution of communications networks, and EXFO, the network test, monitoring and analytics experts, discuss how to deploy PON technology, equipment, cabling, splitters and powering systems to support future 10G connectivity speeds without ripping and replacing traditional copper-based IT networks.
ResourcesMarketing Manager Marie-Anne Grondin walks us through the innovative features of this new fiber inspection scope. See why inspecting single-fiber and multi-fiber connector endfaces promises to be faster, easier and more reliable for technicians in dense fiber environments or on top of telecom towers.
ResourcesSr. Applications Engineer Kevin Peres demonstrates a new feature that allows automated bidirectional testing in real time using iOLM. In this demo video, he shows how to connect the units, run tests and generate reports.
Resources5G densification, national broadband strategies and a boom in data center construction are driving massive investments in fiber optic networks. When building out such networks, technicians will typically only test the complete link at the very end of the fiber segment deployment without visibility on the progress and quality during the build process. With a centralized fiber monitoring solution such as EXFO’s Build & Provision solution powered by RFTM, the fiber link can now be validated end to end while the technician deploys the fiber, reducing the need for future truck rolls. Correlating the fiber build layout with the optical measurement reduces the MTTR (mean time to repair).
ResourcesLearn how to use the same future-proof EXFO test modules in the lab or the field for all transceiver formats.
ResourcesLearn how to validate ports two at a time using one FTBx-88480 unit with its dual-port capability.
ResourcesStephen Docking from Microchip Technology and Sebastien Veilleux from EXFO demonstrate an interoperable solution for 800G transmissions based on the Ethernet Consortium Technology standards (ETC). 800G Ethernet packets are generated at full line rate and are then analyzed by Microchip’s and EXFO’s connected devices. This interop demo took place in March 7-9, in San Diego @OFC2023. Questions about 800G testing best practices? Reach out to our experts on EXFO.com
