The BA-1602 is an electrical 800G and 1.6T bit-error-rate tester (BERT) specifically built for testing and validating linear-drive pluggable optics (LPO) on production floors and in R&D labs. It detects signal degradations like reflections, intersymbol interference, and FEC tail instability.

Design, validate, deliver 1.6T

The BA-1602 delivers full lifecycle electrical BER validation for 1.6T, 800G and 400G Ethernet across lab, fab and live environments. It supports 8- and 16-channel PAM4 coding at 106.25, 53.125 and 26.5625 GBd per lane.

Users can run high-performance signal integrity and BER testing, generate and analyze FEC, monitor block error ratio (BLER), and access I²C and I3C registers for fast, low-level diagnostics and debugging.
