Reaching 10G in Mobile Fiber Network

The explosion in worldwide smartphone use shows no signs of slowing down, in both developed and developing countries, with several industry sources projecting over 6 billion users by 2020. It’s no wonder that fiber mobile networks are one of the fastest-growing segments in telecom today.

In order to address such rising demand for mobile bandwidth, operators are faced with growing their backhaul infrastructure from 1G to 2.5G—and all the way up to 10G.
