EXFO named in U.S. Air Force ABMS contract

EXFO is pleased to have been named in the U.S. Air Force’s Advanced Battle Management System (ABMS) contract (JADC2 ID/IQ) issued in 2022.

As outlined in an Air Force May, 2021 Public Affairs release, ABMS will be the backbone of a network-centric approach to battle management in partnership with all the services across the U.S. Department of Defense. The Joint All-Domain Command and Control (JADC2) will allow U.S. forces from all services and their allies and partners “to sense, make sense and act upon a vast array of data and information faster than adversaries can detect and respond”.

EXFO equips government entities with the test and measurement tools needed for end-to-end testing in an era of 5G to the battlefield, electronic warfare, and cybersecurity challenges. The company provides hardware and software test tools and analytics solutions to diverse government entities such as SIGINT, Departments of Defense, System Integrators/Prime Contractors, Homeland Security, and to their key consultants.

From lab to live, and from fiber testing to 800GbE and 5G, EXFO has the solutions needed to empower the technicians and engineers who are dedicated to supporting Warfighters in the field, and those working in labs, offices, data centers, and Sensitive Compartmented Information Facilities (SCIFs).

Following is the official media statement from the U.S. Air Force regarding this contract:

EXFO has been awarded a $950,000,000 ceiling indefinite-delivery/indefinite quantity contract for the maturation, demonstration and proliferation of capability across platforms and domains, leveraging open systems design, modern software and algorithm development in order to enable Joint All Domain Command and Control (JADC2). This contract is part of a multiple award multi-level security effort to provide development and operation of systems as a unified force across all domains (air, land, sea, space, cyber, and electromagnetic spectrum) in an open architecture family of systems that enables capabilities via multiple integrated platforms.
