Kassel Public Utilities has been operating fiber optic networks in the Kassel region through their affiliate company Städtische Werke Netz + Service GmbH (NSG) since 1997. Opternus provides solutions to support FTTH network construction and operation using splicing systems from Fujikura and optical metrology solutions from EXFO.
