The FTBx-720D is an OTDR that is best suited for most typical short and access networks. It can perform both singlemode and multimode testing.

The FTBx-720D is designed for fronthaul/backhaul applications (FTTA, DAS, RRH, small cells), Tier-2 certification in data centers, enterprise and access networks, PON characterization and more.

The FTBx-720D test module is hosted within EXFO’s compact modular platforms that can also be equipped with other testing capabilities such as Ethernet, CPRI or copper testing to provide a complete test solution for FTTA contractors.

Swap-Out（可替换）连接器

新的FTBx 700D OTDR系列模块采用可替换（Swap-Out）连接器，您可以根据需要在现场轻松替换，而不必将OTDR模块送回服务中心进行维修或校准。这可以确保OTDR长时间保持出色的性能，避免不必要的维修成本和停机。可以通过OTDR自带的诊断工具查看光纤连接器的状况，只在必要的时候替换连接器。

即使更换了连接器，校准日期仍然有效。无需提前校准设备。
