The Wi-Fi of the FIP-500 can be configured via the EXFO Exchange mobile application ( available for iOS and Android Smartphones). Once the Wi-Fi is configured, the FIP-500 can be updated autonomously through this Wi-Fi connection from the “settings menu”.

By updating, the FIP-500 fiber inspection scope it will now support single-fiber inspection and analysis (SC, FC, LC…)

The EXFO Exchange Application is the companion application to the FIP-500 fiber inspection scope. With the latest version of the Exchange application, scheduled for early October 2021, it will be possible to generate PDF reports of inspections performed with the FIP-500.
