FTTH and High Speed Technologies in Thailand

On July 1, 2014, EXFO’s joint event with Digital Instruments came to a triumphant close with over 250 attendees. Delegates were seen streaming out of the seminar. Some were chatting excitedly about all they had seen and heard, while others seemed to be adrift in imagination as they pondered on the latest innovations.

The Fiber-to-the-Home (FTTH)  session presented new automated and intelligent field-testing solutions such as the FIP-430B, the industry’s first fully automated fiber inspection probe. The FIP-430B is a true game changer that turns fiber inspection into a one-step process.

The High Speed session presented a powerful new combo on the market: an agile OSA and a multiservice test solution in one supertech platform.  EXFO’s FTB-5240S-P Pol-Mux OSA with the FTB-88100NGE 10M to 100G Multiservice tester is the only 100G commissioning, turn-up and troubleshooting testing solution available on a single platform.

The demo during the break and at the end of the session provided a hands-on experience for the attendance. Products on display included the FIP-430B, the FTB-720 OTDR, the iOLM,  the new FTB-2 Pro platform equipped with 100G testers as well as CD and PMD analyzers.
