The Global Mobile Suppliers Association (GSA) has estimated that by the end of 2012 there will be 150 LTE networks launched globally. Test teams tasked with ensuring that these new networks run smoothly on launch date will not only have to meet subscribers’ extremely high quality expectations, they will have to do so under severe time constraints while assuring network coverage, interoperability, mobility and subscriber QoE.
It is therefore imperative to detect and resolve any network errors within the shortest possible time frame. Having engineers wait around for test data to be post processed before they can view troubleshooting results is no longer a viable option. Test engineers must be able to see what is happening on the LTE network immediately, with access to LTE network troubleshooting results in real time.
