Keith Bolland joined EXFO in 2008 as Solutions Sales Specialist in the EMEA region. Keith has been involved in the telecom industry and test & measurement for many years covering technologies like PDH/SDH, Ethernet/IP, voice and data services—with a focus on fibre testing and monitoring. Keith works closely with customers and in developing product lines to ensure solutions meet both current and future needs.
Based in the UK, Keith supports the sales team to position cost-effective test and monitoring solutions that enable service providers to roll out fibre networks quickly while ensuring first-time-right connectivity for subscribers and increased customer satisfaction.
Paul Foster has been in the telecom industry for 30+ years, the last 20 of which being with EXFO and culminating in the role of UK Sales Manager for test & measurement. Prior to a sales role, Paul worked on major telecommunication projects throughout the UK, in both automotive and construction industries.
Hugo Garcia-Escobar has been with EXFO since 2006. For the last 14 years, Hugo‘s excelled in the role of Application Engineer with a focus on test and measurement solutions for the physical layer. He supported Tier 1 network operators across the UK, Portugal, Italy, Spain and Greece as they rolled out their FTTH deployments.
Neil Hobbs, EXFO Europe’s EMEA T&M Business Development Manager, has been involved in the telecom test & measurement industry for around 25 years.
Neil’s first engagement with commercial telecom transport technologies, as a Field Engineer within Mercury Communications (now Vodafone) Network Maintenance & Support was in 1991.
Neil subsequently moved into the Test & Measurement field in ’96, where he has worked ever since, with time served at W&G-Acterna (Now Viavi) supporting all types of telecom transport & datacom testing from L1 to L3, including legacy PDH & SDH to Ethernet and Fiber Channel as well as synchronization.
In 2004, Neil joined EXFO as a Transport & Datacom specialist providing technical pre and post-sales support to the EMEA sales team. Neil has responsibility to provide business development and technical sales support for all EXFO’s Test & Measurement Business Units but specializing in transport & datacom.
This role encompasses the Lab to Field range of customers and all applications from equipment selection & validation through to service turn-up and acceptance.
Pervaiz Khan has been with EXFO since 2007, starting in the APAC & EMEA regions. In 2019, he joined the UK team as an Application Engineer. His core experience is in optical test & monitoring solutions. Prior to joining EXFO, Pervaiz worked as a transmission engineer for Huawei Technologies. Pervaiz holds a university degree in computer engineering.
Guillaume Lavallee is a product line manager at EXFO, the communications industry’s test, monitoring and analytics experts. He oversees the optical products in the Installation and Maintenance division. He has more than 15 years of experience in telecom test and measurement, related technologies and best practices. Guillaume has a bachelor’s degree in Physics Engineering, specialized in Optics, as well as an MBA from Canada’s University Laval.
Gordon Law has 26 years of experience working in the telecom industry in the fields of test & measurement and service assurance. Gordon joined EXFO in January 2019 taking charge of the flagship service assurance account with a pioneering cloud-based virtual monitoring system for 4G/5G Cloud Core mobile networks. He was also responsible for the Vodafone Group and other accounts in the UK, Ireland and the Nordic region. The growth of UK fibre network operators has brought a new focus on tools and systems for accelerating and automating new fibre network build and connect. This extends to continuous fibre network monitoring alerting on service degradation and performance monitoring.
Leigh Sheppard has been working with EXFO since 2011. She joined the UK Sales team in 2020 as Account Manager. Leigh's role is focused on the UK, specifically on ALTNETs and Tier-1 &-2 contractors. Her key areas are optical handheld testers as well as centralized test solutions.
Dave Watts joined EXFO’s sales team in 2006 and currently holds the position ofSales Director for all EXFO solutions across UK, Ireland, Nordics and Israel.He is based inEast Hampshire, England in the United Kingdom.Dave has over 15 years of internationaltelecoms experience working withfixed/mobile operators, NEMS and contractorsand strivesto find new, innovative ways to reduce time to market, improve QoS/QoEand therefore increase ROIand profitability forEXFOcustomers.He holdsa Master of Science (MSc), Marketing and Product Management from Cranfield University andas well asa Bachelor of Science (BSc),Design Technology andBusinessand a diploma inDesign Engineering, bothfrom the University of Plymouth.
