Senior Software Developer

As a part of the organization as a Senior DevOps Engineer you will be responsible for Site Reliability Engineering of one or multiple product through Understand, Design, test, automate and maintaining quality standards for EXFO’s products. You will also be responsible for efficiency gains of team and improving product delivery so that minimizing customer feedbacks.

What you’ll do

• focus will be on Site Reliability Engineering principles to develop tools, automation, CI/CD pipeline.
• Involved in analysing software behavior and gauging the complexity, efforts and volume of tasks.
• Involved in software automation.
• Will be responsible for solving technical problems or issues faced by team members.
• Ensuring that necessary Automation, CI/CD pipelines are made available and maintained.
• Active participations in agile processes, identifying the process improvements and driving them.
• Work on latest & diverse set of technologies and domains 
• Act as scrum team member and resolve impediments work as planned to achieve predictability.
• Works towards scrum team goal, not only towards individual goal.
• Be a motivated team member and think towards achieving end goal and not only finishing day to day task.

What we’re looking for

Technical skills 

Must

1. DevOps engineer with experience of around 6 - 7 years
2. He / she should have knowledge of CI/CD, container concepts, Orchestration, Cloud technology, Source Control, Pipelines, etc
3. Automation - Robot Framework / Cucumber, Selenium, Python
4. Experience on gitlab is a must
5. Experience in DevSecOps will be a plus
6. Must have minimum 2-year experience with Linux operating system.
7. Must have knowledge of Databases and SQL
8. Kubernetes and Docker experience will be a plus
9. knowledge of Monitoring Tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Network profiling will be plus
10. Experience with Red Hat Openshift or VMWare Tanzu will be a plus
11. Team player with good communication and written skills. Being able to conduct discussions across multiple teams and levels of seniority to drive SRE agenda
