Senior Quality Analyst

Job Description:

As a part of the organization as a Senior Quality Analyst this person will be responsible for developing, applying and maintaining quality standards for products of EXFO. This person will also be responsible for creating test plans including gathering test requirements, use-cases/test plan creation and risk assessment. Demonstrate competence in own area; may still be acquiring higher level skill. Identify unusual technical problems and escalates them for resolution. Work with limited guidance on projects within defined criteria. Provide solutions to a diverse range of moderately complex problems.

Responsibilities

Test Execution: Includes running automated/manual tests and applications and testing courses on specific Learning Management Systems.

Test Reporting: Includes providing management with electronic reports on defect data. Attend defect review meeting on daily and weekly basis.

 Defect Management: Includes defining, tracking and retesting defects.

 Process Improvement: Includes providing regular feedback to the management on the effectiveness of the QA process.

 Test environment handling: Create and maintain the test environments.

Key Technical skills (all essential skills)

• Excellent knowledge of SDLC.
• API Test Automation, Hands-on experience in developing BDD/TDD 
• Proficiency in Java/ Java Scripts/ Type Scripts
• Proficiency in UI automation using Selenium/TestComplete/QTP (Verification & Validations)
• Experience in Cucumber framework is a plus
• Experience in REST API automation using JMeter/Postman
• Experience in working with DevOps to integrate the scripts with the CI/CD pipeline
• Experience in Testing on Cloud Application (AWS Services)
• Experience in Preparing Test Plans, Test case development, Test execution and Test Reports.
• Experience in Feature, Regression, Interoperability (IOT), Performance, Integration, Security, Sanity, Acceptance, System Testing.
• Good experience with DevOps concepts and tools such as Git, Jenkins, Selenium, and Cucumber/Protractor/Cypress
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance.

Education

BE/B Tech/ MCA. - Comp Science/ Information Technology

Experience

5+ years in the field of Software Quality Assurance and Quality Control in Automation and Manual Testing.
