Job Summary:

As a Network Administrator, you will work closely with the development teams to implement innovative solutions to accelerate product development. This sometimes means working in teams with other sites to solve complex problems involving multiple systems. EXFO is a high-tech company with significant challenges. As such, our people must be prepared to take on complex challenges.

Your role:

• Implement technologies specifically related to product development
• Management of networking requests for research and development
• Updating firewall rules for research and development needs
• Implement a system of delegation of rights on network equipment to allow certain manipulations by other teams
• Modification of the network architecture
• Follow security best practices while finding solutions to accelerate product development

What we are looking for

Technical Skills: 

• Knowledge of switch technologies: MLAG, 802.1x, NAC,
• Knowledge of routing technologies: BGP, OSPF,...
• Knowledge of IPV6
• Knowledge of WIFI6, IPSec
• Knowledge of security best practices

Required skills :

• Ability to innovate in a product development environment
• Customer service oriented.
• Autonomous and motivated.

 
Requirements

• Relevant experience: 5 years of experience in network management
• Language requirement: Bilingual (French and English)
• Education: AEC in computer science
