The solution manager is responsible for defining and communicating the Solution vision, strategy and roadmap to internal and external stakeholders.
Solution Managers works directly with Solution Architects and Engineering to collaboratively design the solution and assure technical feasibility. They also collaborate with EXFO Product Management and 3rd party vendors to satisfy functional solution requirements as dictated by the market.
Owns the definition, design and go to market strategy of the solution end-to-end
Responsible for solution profitability, ROI, related services and lifecycle;
Define and prioritize solution features, epics and capabilities
Communicate the solution vision, strategy and roadmap throughout the organization;
Drive the marketing activities and content – collaborate with Marketing group;
Nurture connections with existing and potential customers to maintain the roadmap;
Seek customer and user satisfaction (market fit, relevancy, serviceability, operations);
Manage solution suppliers including requirements specifications, gap analysis, & supplier selection;
Align solution roadmap with technology/component providers (in-house and 3rd party);
Perform regular solution demos to internal stakeholders on a regular cadence;
Opportunistically involve product managers in customer meetings;
Coach sales teams on product positioning, strategy and roadmap;
Drive sales enablement efforts including collateral, competitive analysis, training, demos and customer engagements
Identify and drive potential proof of concept opportunities with early adopters.
Bachelor’s Degree in engineering or telecommunications technology.
Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience (RF, telecom, networking protocols, system solutions).
Demonstrated 5 years of experience in product or solution management.
Fluency in English
