Bruno Giguère
Advisor, CTO Office, EXFO

Bruno Giguère was nominated Advisor to EXFO’s CTO Office in 2006. In this role, he is instrumental in analyzing market dynamics and implementing corresponding technical strategies for EXFO’s Ethernet and Transport test product portfolio. Mr. Giguère is EXFO’s representative to many standards organizations, including the Metro Ethernet Forum, International Telecommunication Union and Optical Internetworking Forum. He is also the Canadian National Study Group Chairman for ITU-T Study Group 12, and the current Editor of Y.1564. He has also presented various technology seminars and webinars, and authored or co-authored numerous application notes, magazine articles and technology reference guides.

Mr. Giguère holds a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the École de technologie supérieure (ETS) in Montréal, Canada.

Sophie Legault
Group Manager – Datacom Product Management, Transport and Datacom Business Unit, EXFO

Sophie Legault has a solid foundation in the telecommunications industry with over 15 years of experience. She currently holds the position of Group Manager for the Datacom Product Management team, which includes product line definition and marketing.

Sophie began her career as a Network Specialist for Stentor, the once cross-country network operator for Canadian ILECs. She then expanded her experience as a Systems Engineer for Nortel Networks’ optical Internet product line. Sophie has accumulated a solid background in both telecom and datacom network applications.

She holds a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from École Polytechnique de Montreal as well as an MBA from École des Hautes Études Commerciales in Montreal.
