  • Deploy and maintain a design thinking methodology for web based/mobile products 
  • Interact with PLMs, BUs to identify and create user personas 
  • Identify, create, launch and analyse users/customers qualitative analyses 
  • Share insights with Marketing, BUs, R&D to improve best CX practices and influence product development 
  • Influence new device development that may include mobile/web based applications 
  • Help BUs/IT to redesign/refresh the customer experience on all digital customer touchpoint (ex.: RMAs, Partners website) 
  • Map and improve the complete EXFO CX journey 
  • Support R&D (T&D / SASS) UX designer/programmer in solving UX issues 
  • Support R&D teams (T&D / SASS) in prototyping web and mobile applications 
  • Keep UX best practices up-to-date and share knowledge with EXFO UX/UI community through workshops, webinars and other mediums 
  • Imagine innovative UI components for our devices, web apps and mobile apps
  • Support the enhancement of the oneEXFO Design System (web based and mobile)



  • Design psychology (user attention, cognition and emotion theories/principles) 
  • Interface development cycle mastery (design thinking methodology) 
  • Ideation methods 
  • Knowledge of Material Design 
  • Proficiency in UX/UI prototyping tools (UXPin / Sketch / etc.) 


  • Min. 5 - 7 years experience in website, web app and mobile UX 
  • Bac. Design / Marketing / MIS / ECom / BBA / Visual art 
  • Experience in web agency or software dev. company 
  • Well documented portfolio
