Testing fiber-optic recirculating loop transmission using the OSA20

Optical recirculating loops are particularly attractive to simulate long-haul transmission systems without the need for ultra-long spans of fiber or multiple amplification elements.

The OSA20 optical spectrum analyzer has a dedicated acquisition mode optimized for recirculating loops as well as several analysis tools to analyze key optical characteristics such as OSNR.
