To enter the draw, fill out the survey that is linked to an eligible EXFO webinar or webcast that you have attended. When you watch an entire webinar or webcast, a web survey will appear, requiring you to enter your contact information and provide your feedback on the event you just attended. Once completed, simply click on Submit. You will be automatically registered to the draw of the contest. Your entry will be valid only for one (1) draw, and will not be valid for the subsequent draws, if any.
The contest is open to anyone, worldwide, with the exception of EXFO employees and the persons residing with any EXFO employee. Participation is limited to one entry per person per event. Duplicated entries will be discarded (based on e-mail address, phone number and mailing address). Any subsequent entry that has an identical name, e-mail address and event title will be considered as a duplicate entry. Notwithstanding the above, EXFO reserves the right to consider as duplicate entries, multiple e-mail addresses referring to the same name or a similar name.
The contest begins on Tuesday, January 1, 2019 at midnight ET and ends on Tuesday, December 31, 2019 at 11:59 p.m. ET, which is the final date and time for entering the present contest. Ending date is subject to change (see section 8 (i)).
Two (2) Amazon gift cards, each of a value of $100. The prize will be shipped to the winner’s preferred address within 15 business days following the draw. Complete tracking information will be provided to the winner following the shipment. The prize has an approximate total value of CA$200 (taxes included) and the gift cards can be used in the U.S. or Canada.
Two (2) random draws will take place at EXFO’s corporate headquarters located at 400 Godin, Quebec City, QC, Canada, G1M 2K2. Should the selected participant prove to be ineligible for the prize, he/she will be disqualified, and another draw for the prize will take place. The odds of winning will depend upon the total number of eligible entries received. There is no limit to the number of eligible entries that can be received. One (1) draw will be conducted twice during the year on the following dates:
The winner will be notified officially via the e-mail address he/she provided to EXFO. A winner who fails to respond within fourteen (14) calendar days of notification will be disqualified and the organizers will draw another name until the prize is awarded. The prize will be awarded to a confirmed winner only. Before being declared as the confirmed prize winner, the selected participant must: (i) correctly answer a mathematical skill-testing question without mechanical or other aid; (ii) confirm compliance with these rules; (iii) acknowledge acceptance of the prize as awarded; (iv) release the contest parties and each of their respective officers, directors, agents, representatives, successors and assignees (collectively, the “Releasees”) from any and all liability in connection with this contest, his/her participation therein and/or the awarding and use/misuse of the prize or any portion thereof; and (v) agree to the publication, reproduction and/or any other use of his/her name and/or photograph or other likeness in any publicity related to the contest and carried out by the contest organizers, without further notice or compensation. If the selected participant (a) fails to correctly answer the skill-testing question; (b) fails to return the duly completed contest documents within the specified time; and/or (c) cannot accept the prize for any reason; then he/she will be disqualified (and will forfeit all rights to the prize), and the organizers of the contest reserve the right, at their sole and absolute discretion, to draw another winner.
The prize must be accepted as awarded and has no cash value. The prize cannot be substituted for another prize, except at the sole discretion of the contest organizers, who reserve the right to substitute the prize with another prize of an equal or greater value. The prize is non-transferable. Refusal to accept the prize releases the contest organizers from any obligation associated with the said prize.
By accepting the prize, the selected winner accepts to have his/her name shown on subsequent survey promotion for up to three (3) months.
