François Robitaille has been with EXFO since 2000. His main responsibilities include NEM market assessment, identifying potential growth areas and key product ideas as well as ensuring that products reach the market and are commercially successful. François started his career as a Project Manager for Gentec Electro-Optics and from there moved on to Bell Mobility Radio in Engineering and Sales, then to Davicom Technologies as Director of R&D. François holds a Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering from Université Laval, in Quebec City. He brings to EXFO extensive expertise in both R&D and sales.

TEF 2021: The Road Ahead, hosted by Ethernet Alliance, will take place during the week of January 25 with a series of webinars happening daily at 1 pm PT. Throughout the week presenters and panelists will explore the next generation of Ethernet rates, from market drivers to networking innovations. 

Join speaker François Robitaille, EXFO’s Director of NEMs Manufacturing, Design and Research, in the panel discussion on Test & Measurement, to review current challenges that vendors of pluggable transceivers are facing when validating silicon-photonics-based transceivers at various stages of design, manufacturing and commissioning.

François will also cover best practices in addressing the testing and qualification of cutting-edge transceivers.
