Success can be measured by how satisfied your subscribers are with the services being delivered to them. As a service provider, your job is to keep subscribers happy through proper management of your outside plant and to help ensure a high quality in-home residential network. This webinar will focus on how operators can ensure they are delivering reliable, high bandwidth services over ultra-broadband physical links such as Gfast/DSL and GigE/FTTx into the residential environment, where WiFi is the preferred method of connecting to the Internet and the services available. The number of connected devices (computers, tablets, smart phones, smart televisions, smart appliances, etc.) in the home continues to skyrocket as we move toward 5G and IoT, and the requirements for providing residents with a high ‘quality of experience’ (QoE) are growing right along with them. Equipping field teams and contractors with the necessary tools to properly deploy and maintain services will allow you to ensure subscriber satisfaction.

In this webinar, you will learn about:

  • Gfast/VDSL2 35b and other DSL technologies
  • Speed performance testing using the industry-standard Ookla Speedtest
  • Common WiFi-related challenges for service providers
  • Typical WiFi issues affecting the residential environment
