Technical Product Owner / Responsable produit technique

Job summary

• As a Technical Product Owner, you will play a significant role in producing high quality technical product requirement specifications for new products and features in our Transport & Datacom product portfolio
• Analyse the market needs and understand the customer use cases in active collaboration with the product line management team
• Help define the most innovative and appropriate solutions taking into considerations any design constraints
• Provide technical support and guidance to the development, support and marketing teams

What you’ll do

• Fulfil the role of Product Owner as a member of Agile development teams
• Responsible for breaking down business problems into value-added deliverable increments
• Responsible for defining user stories, managing and prioritizing the teams’ backlog while maintaining the conceptual and technical integrity of the product/feature requirements
• Participate in the planning of a release increment and to define its objectives
• Provide support for test automation and story acceptance criteria
• Empowered to accept user stories in the release baseline
• Participate in sprint reviews and retrospectives
• Conduct domain technology scouting and perform technology studies

What we’re looking for

Technical skills

• Excellent knowledge of the Radio Access Network (RAN) technologies such as 4G/LTE, 5G NR, OTA RF, FDD/TDD as well as Ethernet/IP, CPRI, eCPRI & Open Fronthaul Interface
• Excellent knowledge of telecommunication & mobile networks architectures & applications
• Familiar with applicable industry standards from IEEE, IETF, ITU, ANSI, 3GPP & O-RAN
• Familiar with telecommunication test equipments
• Excellent technical writing abilities
• Act as a resident technical subject matter expert
• Capable to develop functional documentation which fully describes the features within the product

Required aptitudes

• Good knowledge of Agile development methodologies
• Demonstrated experience in specification of complex systems
• Excellent analysis and synthesis skills
• Capability to handle complex problems and situations
• Capability to develop innovative ideas/concepts
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
• Comfortable working in a multi-cultural, distributed environment
• Capability to digest, interpret and adapt industry standards to the test & measurement market
• High interest in emerging telecommunication technologies

Must have

Pertinent experience: 10 years’ experience in the telecommunication industry

Language requirements: English and French

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent
