The Entry Level Sales Associate will be assigned to the USA T&M sales organization and may work within channel management, account managment or territory sales and will be assigned to a senior sales person or manager to gain knowledge and insight of selling into the Telecom markets served by EXFO. This is an entry level sales role for those with minimal to no experience in sales but with an aptitude capable of being successful in a Telecom sales career. This role does not guarantee a long term postion at EXFO in sales but does provide a great opportunity for the chosen person and EXFO to explore if a long term position is desirable for both parties.
The Entry Level Sales Associate will be assigned to one of EXFO's USA T&M work groups and will assist the manager or senior sales lead in the day to day selling activities. The role will require learning sales funnel management, opportunity management and the development of sales closing skills. The role will be required to learn and work within the EXFO CRM tool and to develop a knowledge of sales principles and skills. As as sales associate you will need to quickly develop EXFO product knowlegde and skills within the T&M product family and learn the 3 basic principles. Know your products. Know your assigned customer and learn how EXFO products apply to our customers. This position does require overnigh business travel. An ability to travel overnight is required with an expectation of 40% travel
No sales experience required but preference may be given to applicants who have sales experience in retail, business to consumer and business to business in non Telecom market segments
Preference given to 4 year degreed candiates with degrees in engineering, marketing and business administration
