IMS/VoIP Testing

EXFO’s VoIP and IMS testing application provides the industry’s leading signaling and user-plane capacity as well as performance testing. Its flexible yet high-performance signaling testing capability is ideal for testing VoIP and IMS devices such as Proxy/Registrar, CSCFs, HSS, AS and DRA/DSC. Its unmatched hardware-based line-rate media generation and analysis capability ensures media-bearing network devices such as SBC or media gateway can sustain media load at the maximum capacity possible. The ability to emulate the entire IMS core supporting VoLTE/RCS/Internet-based WebRTC deployments makes it a perfect tool to test policy, charging and more on the LTE and EPC wireless networks.

 

Wireless Core (2G/3G/LTE) Testing

This application is the best-in-class solution for testing elements within the wireless core network (e.g., MME, SGW, PDN-GW, SGSN). These elements can either be tested in isolation or in any combination. Test setups can span multiple domains, making it ideal for validating critical functionality such as iRAT mobility, VoLTE, CSFB and SRVCC. User- and control-planes are tightly integrated to provide comprehensive test coverage. The application comes with ready-to-use test packages, while also providing the flexibility for easy customization. Powerful traffic modeling capabilities enable creating live network traffic conditions in the lab.

Designed for the QualityAssurer platform and utilizing the state of the art W2CM user-plane module, the application is capable of simulating millions of subscribers, thousands of network elements while generating and analyzing real-world application data at line rates on 10-GigE ports. A single system can simulate the traffic associated with a major city like New York or Tokyo.

 

Small Cell (3G/LTE) Testing

This application allows the simulation of the 3G and LTE core network with one platform. You will then be able to test stand-alone or integrated small cell elements such as home eNBs, micro eNBs and HNBs. It also offers the right solution to test the H(e)NB-GW.

 

LTE RAN Testing

This application allows eNB testing over S1, X2 interfaces by simulating the EPC. Interfaces to the legacy core networks are also supported for features testing (e.g., CSFB and inter-RAT mobility). Available on the QualityAssurer platform and on a portable platform, this application is suitable for both lab and field testing.
