Under the supervision of the Software Group Manager within R&D, the software architect is responsible for the architectural design solutions that will be implemented by Pune’s Telecom&Datacom software development team. He must ensure those design solutions are coherent with our application family.
In addition, he needs to make sure that the software architecture is understood and used properly by the developers. Also, he participates in the improvement of the multi-site development process to help reach better efficiencies and development quality. He contributes to the schedule estimates and he needs to get involved in some project feasibility studies. He must be available to travel to India occasionally.
Main tasks:
- Continuous contribution to the software architecture and test application evolution.
- Review technical specification documents.
- Collaborate and review software design documents.
- Enriches in-depth team knowledge by writing various technical articles.
- Conducts technical presentations on the software architecture evolution.
TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS
- In-Depth knowledge of layered architectures, component-based software, abstraction and encapsulation methodologies, reusability and ease of evolution concepts.
- In-Depth knowledge of the C# language and .NET framework.
- In-Depth knowledge of the C++ language.
- Knowledge of source control and version control methodologies.
- Knowledge of telecommunication protocols such as Ethernet, IP, etc.

ACADEMIC AND PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Education: Bachelor’s degree in software engineering or equivalent related experience.
Pertinent experience: Minimum of 10 years in software development.
Language requirements: Proficiencies in French and English (spoken and written)
