Calibration vs. Verification

Verification performed by independent calibration labs will only check that your unit is still within the manufacturer’s specifications. Unless the lab is equipped with instruments provided by EXFO, no adjustments can be made.

When a unit is sent to EXFO for calibration, our process not only includes the comparison between the unit and the reference standard, but it also guarantees the best possible performance. After verifying the performance of the unit, as received by the customer, we will also make any necessary adjustments to ensure that, once it is returned, the unit will perform according to guaranteed specifications.
