EXFO’s EAST Simulators are used by equipment manufacturers and network operators in load testing, regression testing and functional testing. EAST family products can be used for LTE, EPC and IMS network element testing, and to simulate selected parts of the communications network. This enables independent development of the network elements at an early stage; it also eliminates the need for a real network to test against in the lab, thus avoiding high up-front costs. In addition, EAST products can be used for benchmark testing from various vendors.

Portable or Rack-Mountable Network Simulators

EXFO’s EAST Simulators are scalable and available as both a portable EAST TravelHawk unit and as an ATCA rack-mountable chassis. Either form factor may be configured from a single user-equipment (UE) test case to thousands of simultaneous UE test cases. You can also modify the standard message libraries and call procedures to allow both non-standard test cases and module test cases. All this adds up to significant time saved in the testing phase.
